    UPOV

    Differentiate and sharpen innovation

Building a Unique Point of View (UPOV) sharpens your innovation portfolio with high value, differentiated and protectable value propositions. It is a structured process of synthesis, sense making and concepting, utilizing multiple levels of data (Corporate Strategy, Insights, Foresight, Science & Technology, Legislation & Regulation, Social & Cultural). The UPOV acts as both a north star for new product & service design, and a foundation for impactful brand-aligned innovation.

Decoding Product Performance

    Engineering Experience

Beyond industry standards, defining the je ne sais quoi

Our perception of products is complex. Past experiences and predefined expectations combine with holistic sensory information and socio-cultural contexts. So discovering what differentiates great products from good ones is a complex art and requires looking beyond standard measures. By exploring qualitative research alongside quantitative attributes we can start to discover new attributes that define product experience, the literal je ne sais quoi, and redefine how we design. These critical attributes can be specified, engineered and validated.

  • Prototyping

Building product confidence quickly and early

Increase confidence in your concept, cross-off directions that won’t work and advance ones that show potential. Being fast and scrappy enables us to get feedback and results early and often, to make the right changes and kill the wrong paths before its too late. We increase fidelity as concepts develop, starting with paper, sacrificial and wizard of oz prototypes for early direction, and finishing with proof of concept prototypes.

Real World Testing

    Products on People

    Make the right changes

The most important and often neglected part of product development. Our goal is to get product into the wild with real people for high quality feedback that enables critical product changes before its too late. We don’t believe spreadsheets and questionnaires are the tools which are going to make the difference. We want you to feel and experience what your consumer does, using the right people and techniques for the right feedback.

    Immersion Camps

    High Definition Co-Creation

This is something which can’t be re-created in a deck or zoom call, we build unique experiences designed to connect product teams with athletes and foster deep understanding and empathy of their world. Camps are purposefully designed to illicit deep insights and provide time for reflection and co-creation. Camps also deepen team relationships and create clarity on product goals.
